Quiz Night at Boulder Co.

We were stoked to sponsor the August Quiz Night at Boulder Co Christchurch, with four Korimako Hand Cut Series T-shirts heading out as prizes.

Boulder Co. Christchurch is one of the hubs of the local climbing community. Alongside a seriously good bouldering setup, there's training space, a café and regular events that give people plenty of reasons to stick around once they've finished climbing.

Their monthly Quiz Night is one of those events, tables full, food and drinks going around and an evening of fairly competitive attempts at otherwise useless knowledge.

It felt like a particularly good fit for Korimako.

We're interested in the places and communities that make getting outside part of everyday life, and climbing has always sat naturally within that. Supporting a local event at Boulder Co gave us a chance to contribute something small and send a few of the first Korimako shirts out into the Christchurch climbing community.

The four prizes came from our first Hand Cut Series original designs developed from drawings and hand cut lino, then printed locally here in Canterbury.

A big thanks to the Boulder Co team for inviting Korimako to be part of the night, for giving the brand such a generous introduction, and for continuing to build a great space for Christchurch climbers.
